Cake for breakfast

my mother did cake today it was an epic fail, i feel like i have diabetes,
the cake extremely sweet and each bite has 10 or 11 resins, it's like I'm just biting through sugar. i've drunk alot of water but i still feel the sugar there you know,
i hate that i had to let her know it was horrible but it was horrible. she felt bad though but it's the truth. if you keep making someone feel good when the thing isn't then they won't bother to try to improve in the area. she's going to try again tomorrow and i hope it works out well because so far i regret eating so many but i haven't eaten from morning but now i feel like am dying which makes me feel worse than i was before.
have you had any cake that wasn't so good?

I have baked a few cakes before, that nobody would eat! They ended up in the garbage can

@Merliva After while I baked an oatmeal cake and a carrot cake, they were delicious!

At least she took it well. Some are sensitive and need to word the comment wisely. Or she might end up sulking, which is not fun to be honest.
As for the cake, I messed up on the soda bicarbonate once. Taste like eating medicine. End up throwing the cake.
