Out of Gas

Philippines
December 19, 2020 8:11pm CST
Yesterday we ran out of gas while busy cooking some good meal. We don't have an underground gas but a tank that we use. We ran out so i went to the store for a replacement. Unfortunately, the delivery guy was busy delivering tanks. So I resorted to going back and forth to have it replaced.

Don't you have a spare tank? Back home, I have a spare tank full of gas. When the one being used runs out, I immediately call for delivery. Same here in NZ - when one tank goes empty, we turn the knob to the other reserve tank and call the gas company to deliver a new filled tank.

I don't know why we didn't have two tanks now @sunrisefan but we used to have two before..Maybe it was dangerous at that time because we didn't know were to put the other one.

Your family should always have an extra tank. Two tanks at a time and whe one is empty use the other one and than go get another one.

That makes it a lot of work especially at the time when we don't want it to happen. But I'm sure you must have given your best to it.

I only have one, luckily the seller really trusts me so before the gas runs out we can store it at home first.

It is lot of inconvenience if you don't have a spare cooking gas cylinder fully loaded.

Spare gas would be a good preparation. I have one at home because sometimes gas becomes rare and hard to get also expensive.

Hello @Cheyee that depends on the market, sometimes high and sometimes low on the price.

@Letranknight2015 our government set standard for gas prices, but people still sell above the standard. Have to buy it no matter what, because we need it

My parents keep an extra full tank at home so when one goes empty, we can readily use the other... Then have the empty tank refilled...
