At Christmas time in my country it is customary to make Hallacas, they are similar to tamales, it is made of beef with pork, olives, capers and many vegetables and they are wrapped in banana or bijao leaves preferably and today I began to make them last a long time in the fridge to accompany the Christmas dinner plate ... What do you usually eat at Christmas dinner?

Wow, these look and sounds delicious. I like tamales, so I'm sure I will like these Hallacas. Is it only meant to be eaten during Christmas dinner, or throughout the Chirstmas holiday.

Those look wonderful. On Christmas Day I don't do any more than I have to. I usually either cook a large breakfast or just put on a pot of soup.
