No, it's not a punchline, it's a true story.
I wrote about my son's court case earlier. Well, beginning of this month we actually had a trial date set and jury selection going on. Then two of the prospective jurors walked into the courthouse, past the "don't come in here if you've been exposed to Covid" sign, and filled out their questionnaires. Both of them stated they couldn't serve because they had been exposed. So the judge had no choice but to shut everything down because they could have exposed everyone there. Sigh.
So the bad news is, my son's life gets put on hold for another 3 - 4 months at least. The good news is, there is one witness our investigator never could track down, and maybe he will be able to now. We did track down the one witness we believed could help, and what he had to say was positive, but more would be nice.
The judge's rulings are not favorable to us, and the DA has said some things that leave us to believe he may play dirty. He also mentioned talking about a plea, but we're not going to do that until we see what the investigator comes back with.
And that's my life. How's yours?

I am happy doing surveys as well as writing good news on this site and some fan fictions on Deviantart.

Either those two can't read or they just wanted to get out of jury duty...
