Earthquake on Christmas Day

Some parts of the Philippines were awakened by an earthquake around 7:45am December 25, 2020. I am still sleeping that time and was awakened because I felt my bed shake , when I opened my eyes no one was in the room but me and everything was shaking and moving. I stood up immediately and went outside shouting earthquake!! My sister and brother was already awake and was in the living room , mom and my niece couldnt get up because they were shocked and was disoriented. I was praying the Hail Mary and I remember I couldn't finish it because of fear . I tried praying again this time Our Father and I can feel the earth move still , and I was afraid I did not finished it again .Good thing the eartquake stopped. According to news reports it was because of a volcano , Taal volcano. Pcto.

I saw that news. 6.4 according to the USGS. I think it's especially scary when earthquakes wake you up, though when I'm up and about I find them more interesting than anything. Maybe not a 6, though.

@petatonicsca Yes it was that scary waking up and everything around you is shaking. I have trauma with earthquakes because I can still remember previous big earthquakes in our country. I dont want that to happen again .

@Cheyee This 2020 is not a good year for most of us , pandemic and calamities happened. What I am very thankful now is that my family is still alive and complete. We made it after all what happened.
