Quiet day...

Today it was just me and Angel in the house. I haven't even been in much of a mood to open the gifts under the tree--but I think I will a bit later.
My brother dropped by to get something out of the garage, and to tell me that there was nothing in my oldest nephew's gift. 
I was thinking I accidentally threw it away or something, but after some looking I found it. My brother said not to feel too bad, as my nephew got $300. 
Jeez, when I was a kid I was pleased with a ten-spot.

Yeah--I looked, and there weren't as many as I thought, (which is okay, I don't need a lot). I'll probably open them tonight.

This year it was a quiet Christmas everywhere. Wow!! $300... That's a big amount.. How old is your nephew???
