Color vs black & white

I really couldn't tell you just how many times I have watched the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" at Christmas time each year. The movie came out in 1946, which makes it 74 years old now. This is a black and white movie.
After watching it in black and white all these years, I was amazed to see they had made a colorized version of the movie. So for the first time, I sat down and watched it in color. I read where some think the color version takes away from the movie, but I didn't see it that way.
There is one movie where I can see why it was filmed in black and white and should remain that way. That is the movie "Schindler's List" by Steven Spielberg. To me the point of filming it that way was so people would stay focused on the point of the movie and not be destracted.

I like shows and movies that are seen in black and white instead of in being in color like the classic television shows like "The Three Stooges" and "I Love Lucy".

Oh I love all them classic shows, I can watch I love Lucy over and over again. I wish shows were still like how they were back in the 70's and 80's.
