Helloooo. It’s been a few days, but I was taking a much-needed break from all things writing during my holiday weekend. Now I’m back to update you all on the last few days. It’s nothing spectacular, but I want to share my holiday weekend anyway lol. I spent the rest of Christmas Eve wrapping presents and lounging. My Christmas Eve present from my Mom was a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Trees, yummy! I eventually took a shower and hit the hay. I didn’t want to be super tired the next morning. Christmas was nice. We opened presents, my younger sister and her fiance also came over to do presents, and then we just kind of lounged and hung out for a while. My Mom, younger sister and nieces all watched Chicago (the movie/musical) together before my sister and her fiance left for the night. I eventually laid down to relax. Maybe one day I’ll go into what I gave and received, but it doesn’t feel necessary right now. I appreciated everything and was excited to give my loved ones’ their presents as well. :) I spent the day after Christmas lounging around before my best friend came over with the Little Guy to exchange presents (she couldn’t make it on Christmas). Later, my best friend, the Little Guy, 16yr old niece and I ran to Taco Bell (drive-thru) for some Nacho Fries (and whatever else they ordered), and then she dropped us off and took the little one home. I didn’t do much else that evening, just relaxed before hitting the hay. Unfortunately, it was announced on Saturday night that professional wrestler Jon Huber (Luke Harper in the WWE; Brodie Lee in AEW) had passed away from a non-Covid related lung issue. He was only 41 too. :( I woke up on Sunday morning with a pain in my left shoulder blade, I know for a fact it was from the way I was sleeping. It bothered me all day, so I decided to just relax instead of working, going anywhere, etc. So it was a real lazy day. When I went to bed that night, I used Icy Hot and that helped a bit. The pain has gone down some, enough for me to work today, but it’s not completely gone. And now, I’m working, listening to music and going through a few notifications. I eventually need to go through the expired notifications (I saved the links to those posts in my Google Docs), but I’m a little behind today. I’m planning to work today through Wednesday, and I’ll play New Year’s Eve by ear. If I do work, it’ll only be a half-day, but it’s not uncommon for me to get in a few orders on NYE. I don’t know what I’m doing on Friday yet. I’ll cross that bridge later this week. Whether you celebrate or not, I hope last week and the weekend was good to all of you. You all take care and I’ll try to be back later. :) Photo Credit: I snapped this picture on Christmas 2020. The cardigan is from my 19yr old niece and the Dr. Pepper shirt is from my Momma. :)

Nice presents! Sounds like you had a very nice Christmas. Mine was quiet and subdued for I got one last optometrist appt. tomorrow where doctor can detect diabetes, so I'm not enjoying myself. But when I get home I got snowball cookies waiting for me.

@tammys85 It went ok. But I like only after lunch appointments. So next one on April 1. This will give me Nov. - Jan. free of appointments, which is what I need. Nov. - till Jan. is holiday busy time and eating is not all that healthy.

It was very sad and shocking to hear about JH. Didn't expect that at all when I woke up that day. So nice to hear literally everyone talk good about him though. (Also sad). Glad you got your nacho fries!

Agreed. I didn't know what kind of person he was outside of the ring, but everyone loved him so much and talked about how great of a guy he was; it's really sad. :( Thank yoooou! :)
