Cinnamon Bread and Coffee, a Perfect Afternoon Snack / myLot

I was busy with my usual tasks when my colleague ask me if I want something because she will be going out in a bread shop a few blocks away from our office. "I would be okay to have a coffee as the workload I have is making me sleepy", I handed a hundred peso bill ($2.00). When she came back she already had the coffee and a cinnamon bread. I like the sweet smell as well as the taste of the bread. The coffee keeps me awake for the rest of the afternoon. Do you usually take afternoon snacks! Have a great day!

@DianneN That's great to know. Among those three, only mango is available in our local fruit stand. I haven't got a chance to taste nectarines. I'm not sure if we have this here.

@ARIES1973 I love most fresh fruits in season. Mangoes, cherries, and nectarines are my favorites.

I don't usually have afternoon snacks. But I do take coffee or tea when I need some extra boost. If I really need something, I prefer some cold cuts or meat sticks because for me they're more filling.

If not because of the offer to buy, I would be okay. I always have some cookies and biscuits inside my drawer if I need something to eat.

@ARIES1973 Having some food to quickly snack on when needed is actually good. It prevents us from overeating later on, and plus it prevents headaches.

I'm sure the cinnamon bread tastes good. I'd eat it at once. Yet, looking at the photo I must say that I'd prefer it to come in a different shape. It looks a bit like what comes out of the rear end of a dog, doesn't it?

Well, I haven't thought of that. I'll probably give a feedback to the owner of the store so that they may try creating another shape.

@ARIES1973 Well, if the customers don't have the same thought as I have, he doesn't have to alter the shape. Because of the distance I'm not one of his customers anyway. :-)
