New York State Trooper saves a senior citizen from freezing to death

New York State Trooper Sergeant Jason Cawley is being praised by a motorist named Kevin Kresen who is lucky to be alive after he was inside his auto buried in four feet of snow in Owego on a state road. Kevin was inside his auto after his auto broke down during a snowstorm when he attempted to use his cellphone to ask for help only to have his calls for help dropped due to the bad weather. Thanks to New York State Trooper Cawley who was in the area after he heard a call for help, he started to dig up the mailboxes in the road to locate the address of the call for help, he found a man inside his auto who needed his help to get out of his frozen auto as soon as possible. Sergeant Cawley with the assistance of a passerby managed to get Kevin out of his auto and get him to a local hospital quickly since Kevin was trapped inside his auto for 10 hours. Sergeant Cowley took Kevin to a hospital using his auto since the senior citizen was near death. Kevin is currently recovering from his health scare in a hospital. He is thankful that a police officer went beyond the call of duty to save his life. My belief is that Sergeant Cowley is Kevin's Guardian Angel in this case since freezing inside of an auto for ten hours would end a person's life.
