Christmas Decors

At least I was able to accomplish something this morning. I managed to take our Christmas decorations down, got everything packed in their boxes, taped and sealed, and now they are ready for my husband to take back in the attic. Last year, I was able to take the decorations down halfway through the month of January. Since it is still winter, I still have some of our winter decor, like a snowflake-themed candle holders. I did ask my husband to take down some decors for spring so I can easily switch in a few months' time. I feel so terrible that I am looking forward to spring this early in the year. Maybe the year 2020 made me cynical and so apprehensive? How soon do you take down your Christmas decorations? This time, I was able to do it easily as we did not put up a Christmas tree this year.

Taking down the decorations are not as fun as putting them up. I might take weeks to take down decorations for Eid.

Absolutely. Even in simple parties for instance, the clean up is never a favorite and fun activity. But it sure is fun to put up the party decorations, take pictures, etc.

I only put up a wreath and it comes down the day after Christmas.

I also did not put a wreath. I cannot find the one that I bought last year, and which I really like. Times like this I am glad that I did not go overboard with the decorations - it makes for the clean up easier and faster.
