Hi and Happy new year to you all. Today in the store where I work we had an extremely violent and abusive customer. She was sweating and waiving her finger at me and my colleague. There were plenty of people who witnessed the incident and some of them went to get a manager for help. So two managers have come down (I didn't see them) and talked to my colleague, but nobody bothered to come and ask me. Other colleagues came and were very supportive, but now I know for sure that I am not a valued member of the staff by the managers.

So a customer is being violent against the staff, and no authority even showed up to make sure that you and your colleagues are not hurt? Wow, that is not good. How did the incident de-escalate then? You are all just left to handle it by yourselves?

Apparently the lady kicked if because the pillow she bought was wrongly priced. Then she called my colleague an ignorant cow and swore at me for keeping her late. No, not even one manager came to talk to me

@AAichka Wow, that is not cool of management. Good thing nobody got hurt. Customers can be unpredictable and unreasonable. It is not your job to baby sit adults.

I am very sorry that you were verbally attacked like that by a customer. Shame on those managers for only doing 50% of their job, shame on them.
