Video games are the new game in town for children being treated in hospitals

I like the idea of Starlight Children's Foundation teaming up with Nintendo of America teaming up to have video games installed in hospitals for young children to play during their time inside of their hospital rooms.
The idea of having young children playing video games while they are being treated for illnesses is the best way for a child to play games that they enjoy playing as a way to speed up their recovery time.
Playing a game is one way for all of us to seek happiness in life since we all need challenges in life to keep us focused on living a happy and a fulfilled life when we are down saddled with problems that are usually out of our control.

If nothing else it does provide a nice distraction from life's problems.

That is a very good idea and I am sure that it will take the children's minds off their illness.

That is true since a mind that is having fun playing games for fun makes all of us happy.

I saw this on the news and it gave me a huge smile to think those with such a awful illness can have a little bit of normal fun

That's entertaining but if it's competitive and the child gets frustrated then it will affect his speedy recovery.

Video games will help a child pass the time and have some enjoyment during their confinement.
