I found the item that I couldn't find earlier, which kept me from going out. Now I've got it in my purse, and I can complete all of my errands tomorrow that I couldn't today--provided nothing else decides to hide itself on me.
I finally managed to come to my room early enough so that I can do a few things before I shut down the computer and get to bed at a reasonable time.
So, the last part of the day worked out a bit better than the first.
