Sympathy for Jesus: Sad, because We (Jesus & I) Can't Be Your Friend

even though you SAY we're your friend; there's 'SAYING we are your friend,' and then there's 'actually DOING the work of friendship' ...
And I know "everybody knows" that Jesus did THE ULTIMATE work-of-friendship when He 'died for your sins,' but ... what makes His death any more important than any of the other 108-billion deaths?
I (like Jesus) can't be where 'you' are unless you "take me there" (we say we 'take Jesus there' by being "two or three are gathered together in [His] name," but 'really taking either of us there' would cost you more money than you think we're worth.
(--changing this post a little after reading the first two responses below--)
Oh, you're right; He is "your friend." But He can't be there unless you gather with one-or-more others in His name. And He doesn't give you any help you don't already have.

Jesus must be a good magician, to convince you that all the stuff you gained somehow came from Him. (He's a good magician, and/or He has the most devoted magician's-assistants---the ones who know all the secrets but take very little of the glory
