Writing Plans (And Then Some) For Today

I mentioned on a previous post that I am starting to re-ignite my love for writing by updating my old blog. I find it very therapeutic and calming, something to keep me busy and practice my writing when real life starts to become too much for me.
One of my type A personalities started to kick in and I created a list of writing prompts. I also made a list of scheduled blog posts for each category that I set-up in my blog. As I was finishing up this list, I cannot help but chuckle internally - I have a writing list for a writing media.
This morning, I uploaded a review of a planner that is popular within the planner community. I used this for the whole year of 2020, actually committed to it and used it until the very end so I am excited to actually publish a full review. I noticed that I have a process on updating my blog. For starters, I take the pictures of the item or the subject of my blog post. I find that when I am at a loss for words, I can pull up the pictures that I have taken, give it a look and I get inspired again. Then once I finished the draft of my post, I start to edit the pictures - I crop it and watermark it. Then I insert the pictures in the post, give the whole post another read-through. Then I preview it on my blog to see how it will look like, give it some more editing and tweaking, then finally publish it.
This afternoon, I plan to edit a post about my immigration journey - this might take a while because I need to fact-check the latest rules and regulations. I started my journey in 2012, and since then a lot has changed. Now, I am not posting like an immigration expert here, I just plan to share my journey, the mistakes I made and lessons I learned. However, I want to at least share the correct websites of the agencies that my readers can actually refer to. Since this particular post may take some time, I also plan to start the draft of two more reviews.
I plan to do this while I am doing the laundry. Then when I get tired of writing (I know I will), then it's time for some lunch, mylotting, checking what jobs my client needs that I can quickly knock down, and end it by tidying up the living and dining area. By then it is time to run to the grocery and pick up some vegetables and start on dinner.

I eat real foods with bone broth, and sometimes just one or the other. Trying to lose the weight I put on during the holidays!
