He's Home, So Made Him A Treat

My husband is back home from visiting with his mom and brother. I know he will be hungry as it will be a few hours' drive from their place to ours, so I made him some "sweet" treats. I baked him some low-carb and sugar-free blondies. Blondies are similar to chocolate brownies but substitutes vanilla for the cocoa used in brownies, and contains brown sugar. Sometimes I add walnuts or pecans. But my recipe calls for almond flour, eggs, coconut oil, vanilla, and stevia. An 8 inch by 8 inch pan contains 600 calories only, like the whole pan.
This recipe is actually good for those who are into keto or low carb diets. Neither of us are in any kind of diet, but we prefer to watch our sugar intake. Did you know that most food contains sugar, even in very small quantities? That is why we do not use sugar anymore. We use stevia or monk fruit as sweeteners for coffee, tea, or for baking and cooking.

That sounds yummy. I am trying to cut back on sugar. It's been hard though.

@star_disgate Same here, and I have an equally bad preference for salty snacks immediately after my sweet tooth cravings are satisfied. I can't win, that is why I need to really watch it.

@Raine38 I have had such a bad sweet tooth lately. It's driving me crazy. I can eat and eat and eat, but I need to stop.
