Sundays are usually my days to cook up everything I can in the fridge and try not to let anything go to waste, and that is when I, at least one a month, rediscover my appreciation for rice and everything it can do. Few foods I can cook up and know that I can pair with almost anything and combine to make a variety of different things. It just makes the whole cooking in bulk thing so much easier. I guess pasta is kind of in the category too, as well as grains, but I think I would go rice every time. This is not my rice just a photo from Unsplash but with food posts I always feel I have to have some kind of image. Looks likes it is stuffed pepper tonight and definitely some chicken and rice soup here in the near future.

I like to prepare stuffed pepper soup in the Crock-Pot with white rice. Do you have a good fried rice recipe? A person once told me to use peanut butter.

To us Asian, rice is staple. We eat rice the most. What kind of rice do you usually use?

I've been using cauliflower 'rice' lately--when mixed with other items you have no idea it isn't rice!!
