I can't believe this is happening in US politics

When it comes to elections, we, in the Philippines, often admire how fast the election is concluded in the US. And how sporty the losing candidates were. In the past, the losing candidate would call the victor even before the counting is officially done.
In our country, it is already a common scenario that the losing candidates would cry 'Election Fraud' along with loads of accusations against the victor. Up to now, some candidates and their supporters can't 'believe' that they lost.
But the riot that happened in the Capitol is quite surprising. And it happened just a few days before the newly elected president is sworn in.
The more interesting part is, what would happen between now and the 20th of January?
The House of Representatives could vote on Tuesday on whether to impeach Donald Trump, Democrats say.

Impeachment is ridiculous at this point. The media is fueling this as way worse than it actually was. They are not telling you about the hundreds of thousands who were there who did not riot or encourage any violence.
Do not believe everything you hear or see for that matter.

For quite some time now, I learned how to filter out the commentaries made by the news media.

Our country has more than a fair share of undesirable politicians, my friend. It's been going on for decades. At least in your country, I guess (and I hope) the worst is over in a very short period of time.

@jrlcentral as a wise man once said. Sit back and wait, things will change!

The suspense is indeed real for them. This is the first time that a losing candidate from them cried foul and even tries to maneuver the proclamation with violence. This has made them quite an embarrassment in the international scene especially they are looked up by many nations as the bastion of democracy.

That is true.
As former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said, Trump is the worst president in history.
The concern here is, whatever happens in the US will have a ripple effect on other countries.

If they impeach Trump, not only he is the first president to be impeached twice, but also the first one to be impeached just a few days before his term ends...

@jrlcentral That's what I said ... I can't believe it! I was shocked and couldn't believe what I was looking at.. I don't get into the story of who, what, how at all ... I'm very reluctant here about that, but I'll just say one thing, that I'm sorry for innocent people, I'm not for violence anyway! In any country!
