I tried to feed the cats with canned sardines. The older cat smelled it first and then turn away. The younger has no problem in it and I think he's enjoying his meal.

@simplfred Not all meat. Sometimes I give him chicken but usually I bought fresh fish and cook for them. I think the older cat does not like wet cat foods.

Mix it with their regular food and see if they like it.

I used to feed our cat canned tuna. The sardines would be mine. Hahaha.

@ZedSmart sometimes they find the salt and spices overpowering.

My sister's cats love canned sardines but got diarrhea everytime the ate it. Not sure why, maybe they just have sensitive tummy.

Those sardines are for the cats? If it's human canned sardines, most contain salt.

@ZedSmart I think it's okay if you wash it first I guess. But I am not recommending it though. I would usually try not to feed anything with salt to my cats. I can't control if they eat it outside but they won't get it from me.

@prinzcy I only give the fish. I think that it's good idea if I wash it.
