Before the end of December, our city has less than 30 active cases of Covid-19. It's just almost two weeks after the New Year celebration and now we have 60 plus. I think this is the result of the carelessness of people during the holiday season. I think we will see more coming.

I think just like with the flu, the covid isn't going anywhere... =( And I know people who have been VERY careful and followed all rules, stayed home, wore masks, and STILL got it! So, just don't think anyone is safe from it honestly.

@ZedSmart I agree, the lockdown isn't changing a thing. People still got it! And soon it will be something we are just used to like the flu.

@LovingMyBabies hopefully sooner it will turn like that. Enough of this scare and let's live.

Implementing strict rules may not be an assurance that nobody will get infected but it can help lower or probably totally eliminate the case. It's better to follow the rules all the time.

People got complacent.
We have to brace and prepare ourselves for a possible third wave. Although, I would argue that the first one hasn't even stopped yet.

@ZedSmart exactly.
There is such a thing as pandemic fatigue. We should fight against it and not let our guard down.
