I am so drained tonight. One of my students claimed that the 'tiger is the king of the jungle.' What? I told him that it is the lion. To the rescue, the mother insisted that his son is right. I politely say that they can show me proof to validate this argument. They did not show anything but keeps on whining.
How can you explain this?
Which one is the king of the jungle, the lion or tiger?

@JimBo452020 It's quite clear why penguins don't live in the Arctic! It's because the polar bears have eaten them all already and, because penguins can't fly, it's an awful long way to swim.
Actually, a small colony of penguins did live in the Arctic very briefly (from 1936 and last seen in 1949) and the Great Auk (another flightless bird, similar to the penguin) went extinct about 100 years before that.

Lions live in tropical grassland. The tiger is a jungle dweller, especially in India, though it also can be found in grassland. Therefore the tiger is King of the Jungle, though the lion is sometimes called King of the Beasts.
Tigers and lions do not live in the same habitat. Lions inhabit tropical grasslands in Asia and the Savanna in Africa whereas tigers are indigenous to Asia.

Maybe they were mixed up and thought the Tiger was the Lion?
