Moody Alabama resident Ethan Walker is one amazing child who remained calm when a criminal pulled out a gun at his mother Kristen Walker who was pumping gasoline into her auto. Kristen knew that discretion is the better part of valor by giving in to the demands of the young man who demanded to take the auto by force so she surrendered her auto to the thief. What impressed Kristen is that her son who is nine years of age remained calm as he managed to unbuckle the seat belt of his younger sibling Audrey who is five years of age and get her out of the auto before the thief stole the auto and drove off. This story does have a happy ending since the two suspects who stole the auto were arrested in Mississippi in Saint Clair County later on the same day. Ethan will be rewarded for his act of bravery by Moody Police Chief Thomas Hunt later on this year. Some children today are impressing me how they can remain calm under pressure.

@LowRiderX You are right about the children not having knowledge of dangerous persons unless their parents tell them to avoid talking to strangers.

@Deepizzaguy He knows, he was brought up that way to protect his sister ... I don't believe children are aware of the dangers of the moment

That's wonderful for it's one of the responsibility of any member of the family to do it. But Ethan didn't panic and lost his presence of mind.

I believe that his parents did teach him how to deal with these kinds of scenarios when he was younger.

That's good he remained calm and got his sister out of the car. I'm glad they found the thieves and I assume she has her car back.

@Deepizzaguy I am glad the son could get his younger sister out of the car so she would not be kidnapped by the one that wanted to steal the car. I am so glad they got arrested.

You are right since if he had not been trained for this scenario by his parents, he would have been scared too.

What do you think would happen if the two children remained in the car and were taken away by the robbers?

I am sure that the carjackers would have held them hostage or released them somewhere else by themselves.
