Day 154
Promise 613
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (KJV)
We are all part of a family, biologically or adoptive. As family members you know you inherit when your parents pass on whether the inheritance is large or small, you gain.
Paul told the Galatians they had another inheritance because they belonged to the body of Christ. It didn’t matter who they were, male or female, slave or free, they had a place in Jesus Christ.
As Christians, unless someone reminds you of your position in Christ Jesus, you forget you have an important place in God’s family. Many Christians go about their daily lives wondering why they exist. It isn’t until someone reminds them, they have an important role in God’s plan that they realize they are important to God. The question often asked is, what is my/your purpose?
Have you put on/clothed yourself with Jesus Christ? Do you wake up each morning with the thought about how you can make a difference in God’s kingdom? Is there purpose in your walk, a smile on your face, a kind word on your tongue? There should be because you have an important place in the body of Christ.
Let this be a reminder that you are important and you have a place in God’s plan. Let the next word you speak be tempered with God’s grace.
Let’s pray: Father, show me my place in the body of Christ. Show me how I can make a difference in Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

By baptism by immersion by those who have authority bestowed upon them, we become sons and daughters of God.

@Nakitakona How can baptism save you? The thief on the cross didn't need baptism for Jesus to tell him he would be with Him that very day. Only acceptance of Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord brings salvation.

@just4him I don't think so unless through baptism.
