Impromptu Date Night

I have not been on here for a couple of days because of long days at work. Today is another day when I feel like I am being pulled in a lot of different directions. But I am thankful for my job. When I got home, my husband told me he has a hankering for a pizza. I told him that I am actually wanting to eat out because I don't think I have the energy and the will to cook our dinner tonight. My husband took me to our favorite Mexican restaurant. It is a nice treat to be out again after a long time. I know that this is contrary to my resolve to eat more homecooked meals, but today is just tough. Since it is a week night, there are not too many people out so we actually had a chance to talk. I even managed to change clothes so this feels like a really legit date night. For some reason, the unplanned things end up being the most memorable or fun one. My husband asked me if we can have pizza tomorrow night. I said no, I will cook dinner tomorrow night. He can have pizza sometime next week. I already have the meat thawed out, but put it back in the fridge when we decided to eat out.
