Today is Lohri - A festival celebrated by Punjabis!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. Today is Lohri, a festival celebrated during winter season by Sikhs, Punjabis from the Punjab region of Indian subcontinent. It generally comes a night before the festival of Makar Sankranti. Lohri is an official gazetted holiday in the state of Punjab, India where the festival is celebrated by Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and Christians. In the festival of Lohri the Punjabi folklore start a bonfire and the significance is that the light from the fire goes to the highest power i.e. God and positive wibes get spreaded throughout the places.
