Door bell rang, I am in the room, Monster in-inlaw is in her room too. The helper went to open the door, As she open the door,I heard the man came said to helper that make coffee! My goodness, who is this man to command,! He is just a worker that this oldie is paying. He cannot wait that we will serve tea or coffee? Did you experience someone came into your house and once he entered he/she will demand coffee? What shall I say,

Sounds to me like he feels like someone who should be treated and revered differently. I hate it when people treat others in a very crappy way. On a different note, when are you going to move away from your in-law?

when you say worker, you mean like trabahador for house repairs? then yes, he's quite arrogant to demand coffee as soon as he arrives.

@rhuenz but maybe he is a relative that's why he behaves differently

Never have such experience. Maybe it's because I'm a bit antisocial to begin with and I don't really like people just show up at my house. If they're here invited by me, I would already serve them drink and snacks upon arriving.

Bad mannered guest if it was a guest who ordered the helper to make a coffee.

Well, it's improper to command anyone in the house for he is a hired worker. He should wait whether he may be offered a drink or not.
