Day 156
Promise 615
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Life brings many deceptions. You can be drawn into those deceptions if you aren’t careful.
Paul told the Galatians they needed to adjust their thinking because God can’t be mocked. Whatever they sow, they will reap.
As Christians, you see evidence of reaping and sowing in your life. What you thought you escaped from, you were found out and needed to pay the consequences for your actions. Even if nobody found out, God knew and brought about His consequences for your actions. You cannot escape from God.
It is best to live your life as pleasing to God. When you do, you will reap eternal life. Doing good to others never gets old.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for holding me accountable for my actions. Help me live my life as pleasing to You in everything I think, do, or say. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
