Found a New Place

We have been renting in our current place for more than a year. This house is a just a few meters away from our office. However, the place is small with just one bedroom and a small living room. It's inconvenient for us. My son has to stay in the living room while my daughter and I occupy the bedroom. Knowing that we can't afford a bigger place, we stay on this house and we realized we have been here for more than a year. We decided to look for a new place where there is a place for the car and the motorcycle, but to no avail. When I visited my mother who stays in another village within the city on Saturday, I discovered that two of the boarding houses in their area are already vacant. I immediately looked at the houses and found one to be a good place. It has two bedrooms and we have parking space outside. I talked to the owner and he gave it for PHP3,500 ($70.00), a price which is PHP1,000 ($20.00) cheaper than our current house. I immediately paid the advance rental so that he won't give it to others. We need to clean and repaint the house before we transfer. Since we have work, we might be able to clean it during the weekend. So, more or less, we can transfer before the end of the month.
