I play the flute for about 25 years but not professionally though but still can play pretty well anyway. Now I gave myself a good challenge of learning how to play the clarinet. One thing here is that with the traverse ( flute) you blow a certain way. With the clarinet, you have your lips tighter so it is good for me to take the time to get used to it and to succeed to make a sound coming out of it. Don't know how long it will take me. Patience it takes. I like to play a wind instrument. In my 20's I had in mind to try the banjo, but my mother told me well go ahead, but it did not go anywhere because I had no cash.
