Celebrities sharing their life on social media and then telling media to respect their privacy??

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I really don't understand when celebrities put their private life/ day to day updates on social media platforms like facebook, twitter and Instagram and then tell media to give them privacy by not clicking photos. Recently Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got their baby girl. They gave statement to media to respect their privacy and not take photos of their new born child which I feel it's fine and it's their choice as parents to protect their child from media. However, I fail to understand when they want privacy then why were they posting pics of them on instagram during pregnancy and before that too sharing their private life on social media. I personally feel that people also give way too importance in knowing what's happening in their lives thus all this rise has taken place wherein not only them but almost everyone wants to keep picture perfect posts and stories on instagram. What you guys think about it do let me know. I find all this too bizaare. I am not on instagram and don't feel the need too.

I just love it when celebrities tell us how to live our lives while not setting an example for us to follow.

@Rashnag You are welcome since there is a saying that goes "The spotlight is good until it burns you."

That's what makes me strange with some celebrities.

On one hand, it's understandable since they get to choose what to post and what to keep to themselves. On the other hand, some celebrities use that to get even more attention because people are curious.
