Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. In Surat, every year during Jan-Feb months their comes flowers and book fair. It's organised on my college ground which is very popular in Surat. It's called Vanita Vishram Ground. Last year before the pandemic hit us in March. I had gone to this fair in February when everything was normal and we all were roaming outside freely, carrying on with our daily lives. It's an exhibition of flowers and books. It's a 5 day event organised by the Surat Municipal Corporation. It has minimal entry fees. Different objects are made using variety of flowers. It's a beautiful sight to behold. It feels so good when you are surrounded by such beautiful flowers and art. The smell of flowers takes you to heaven literally. I love to read books so that was beneficial for me too. Different stalls were their selling school/college books and books available of different genres both fiction and non-fiction. All these stalls offered huge discounts. Some were selling 100rs a book no matter what it's cost is. Apart from books stalls, there were stalls providing information about fire brigade training as well as herbal medicine stalls were their. There was a separate section wherein plants were their to sell. It was a beautiful experience just being their with all colourful lights at night time.
