Boiled dry fruit cake

It was the Christmas season and one of the visitors brought us a boiled dry fruit cake. I liked it so much that I called her up and asked her from where she got it It happens that an individual takes orders only during Christmas time and she is not in business per se
I asked her to please contact her and find out if she can make an exception and bake one for me in the off season. I am waiting for a reply. Every dry fruit on earth was added in there and soaked in rum. .
Whenever I get to taste something which I have never tasted before and I like it I look for it on the Net to place orders. Last time I did it with the medjool dates. My nephew brought them for me from the Middle East where he works. I got them through a friend - quite expensive though - each date is 2" long. I am still looking for a cookie - coated with chocolate

I cannot tell you how delicious it was. It was just dry fruits and lots of spices.

A close friend of mine was busy trying to find that cookie but just could not find it I have pleaded with her to stop looking for it (lol)
