What happens after the death? Such a mystery!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. As most of you know that I lost my dad recently on 16th January 2021 due to cardiac arrest. Since that time, I sometimes wonder now that what would be happening after death. The soul leaves the body and goes up in the sky. Would there really be heaven and hell up in sky as we often talk about?!! I don't have any idea about it. I just hope and wish that his soul is happy and peaceful up there. Do let me know what you think about it.
