I prefer korean series. Besides korean language is more soothing to the ears...more romantic...ha!ha!

That's funny! But it's odd you say that because I do find the Korean language easy to listen to and kind of easy to learn. I'll bet I could learn to speak it fluently if I put my mind to it. But I've never felt that Chinese or Japanese was easy to learn. Not by the sound. That's for sure!

I also watch both. But it would still depend on the story if I should continue watching. My top favorites so far are:
K-drama: Boys Over Flowers, Personal Taste, You're Beautiful, Full House, My Girl, Princess Hours, Coffee Prince
J-drama: Absolute Boyfriend, Hana Yori Dango, Hotaru no Hikari, Hana Kimi

i'm a kdrama fan. i haven't watched any japanese drama yet but i'm intrigued with the drama 1 liter of tears since it received so many good reviews. it's on my to-watch list.

I watch both. But I do believe I watch more of the Korean Dramas. I do watch the Japanese and Taiwanese ones as well. I also agree that american soap operas suck. My friend that is chinese loves them but I can't stand them. I'm american and I loveeeeeee korean and other dramas. I can't wait to start a new one. I am currently watching Nine tail fox and trying to watch Korean Secret Agency. But the site that I watch them on for free is having connection problems to that particular drama. I watch them on mysoju.com its a great place to get alll the dramas. OHHH I've been trying for the longest time to get the last of the Evil Spirit 05 drama. :D

Korean. But I'm happy to watch Japanese drama. Can you recommend any? They have to be historical period dramas.
