Now Watching WandaVision

I've been reading about DisneyPlus' WandaVision. A TV series about Wanda Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch) and Vision of the Avengers. I've seen some clips that show it in black-in-white, though I have absolutely no idea why. And it surprised me that the pilot episode appears just like a very old black and white comical TV show... probably like in the 1970s or '80s. Unlike the action-packed and CGI-heavy Avengers movies, WandaVision is like a comedy show that you can compare with Big Bang Theory... or something like that... and in black and white. Frankly speaking, this makes the show very interesting and makes me wonder when the show becomes action-packed. Have you watched WandaVision

It's quite funny. In the pilot episode, it focuses on how would a mutant/enhanced and an android couple would fit in with the humans in a comical way. As I've said it is unlike any other superhero movies or TV shows that focus on the superheroes beating the supervillains. And the setting looks like they traveled back into the 1970s or 80s

@jrlcentral I just checked to see if we have it on Netflix, but, do not. I watched Big Bang Theory, but, not WandaVision.

I haven't watch it. I hear about this show just now. Isn't Wanda and Vision a part of the modern era? Why black and white though?

Yeah. They are members of the Avengers. The setting also looks like in the 1970s. It makes the show more intriguing. I think it has something to do with Wanda's power to bend reality--- that is based on the comic books. Or is it because the couple first came out in the comics in the 1970s? I saw a clip showing Vision in his green and yellow costume just like in the comic books... and it looks hilarious.

Yes. I've seen all nine episodes (I don't know if that's the end of the series, but the last episode was titled "The Series Finale"; and I see why (as it was 'the end of ... something ...'), but watching to the end (BOTH post-credit scenes) reveals that there's going to be MORE ... probably picking up in one of the many upcoming Disney+/MARVEL series). Anyway, 'the action' picks back up in the third episode (and I think there might've been hints of it in the credits of the first two episodes.)
