Hey there, everyone. I’m going to make this my final post of the night. “Have you ever carved your name or initials into a tree or stone?” As far as I can remember, no, I’ve never carved my name or initials into a tree or stone. So why would I even choose to do this challenge? It reminds me of a story that I’d like to share with you all. It was about a day or two after my Daddy passed away, back in June of 2013. One of my nieces and I were walking to the store when we saw a butterfly fly past us. It drew our attention to a tree that had the word “Hi” carved into it. Obviously, it was there before my Dad had passed away, but I do believe it was a sign of some sort, of him telling us he’s okay. I didn’t get a picture of the carving though. I had an old mobile phone and I didn’t think of it anyway. But I just wanted to share this little story because the challenge question reminded me of it. Welp, I’m going to wrap things up and call it a night. My Mom has routine appointments tomorrow, and I’m sure the dogs are gonna wake me up anyway.
