Deshaun Watson Requests Trade

Deshaun Watson
Sparta, Tennessee
January 28, 2021 9:16am CST
Breaking news from ESPN. It's finally happened, what we thought would happen once all staff was named and he had absolutely no say in the matter. All he had asked was that he have a little input. He didn't want the final decision but just a little say as to who he would be working with. Not too much to ask seeing as other Quarterbacks get that consideration. Instead they shut him out and it's now official. Deshaun Watson has asked the Houston Texans for a trade. I wonder where he'll end up. Possibility: Jets. What do you think? *picture from google

The Jets need something...that's for sure!

The Jets need to look more toward upper management. So does Denver, Detroit and Philly...I might even say the Giants as well. No reason to have decent players but yet no coordination between them.

@snowy22315 It is but yet we just blame the players all the time. I learned that there are so many other factors as well.

Just hope he gets to go where he wants. A lot of footballers here are not getting what they want and they are really good.

@JordanLader We donĀ“t see much of this sport except for one programm that does put them on a bit of information about the teams and how they are going otherwise we would not get to hear about them. Leo Messi is still being messed about also he is a good guy but there are footballers equally as good and they get the the worst deals sometimes.

All he wanted was a little respect. I'm like 80% positive he'll end up with the Jets

I've listened to a few Podcasts that have talked about this. Most of the analysts believe that the team that acquires Deshaun will have to give up more than a couple 1st round draft picks to get him and I'm sure there's a NFL franchise out there that will step forward and make the trade.

They won't have a choice because technically he still has a year left on his contract and a no trade clause. It's going to be a lot of trouble but they still seem to think that the Jets would be a good fit and might go for it. I wonder who the Texans are going to get as a QB now though? Even if they keep Watson, I don't think he would end up being a decent starter for them anymore.
