Day 171
Promise 632
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Do you feel fully clothed when you go anywhere? There are times when we all leave home without something.
Paul told the Ephesians, there was more to being clothed than mere clothes. They needed God’s armor. With it they could destroy Satan’s attack against them.
As Christians, you need to be clothed in God’s armor at all times. With the armor in place, you can withstand everything Satan throws against you and you can destroy his kingdom.
God’s armor consists of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, God’s Word, and prayer. Clothed in this armor, Satan doesn’t stand a chance against you. With it, you can kick down the gates of Hell and destroy every thought that comes against you.
When Jesus changed Peter’s name, He told him the gates of Hell wouldn’t stand against him.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (KJV)
Your name will do the same thing because Satan knows you belong to Christ.
Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? (KJV)
When you put on God’s armor, Satan won’t ask who you are, he will know. He can’t stand against anyone clothed in God’s armor. Never take it off. Wearing it at night will give you peaceful sleep. Wearing it during the day will tear down his kingdom.
Let’s pray: Father, help me tear down Satan’s kingdom when I stand in Your armor. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Amen!
Beautiful thoughts. We don't fight against flesh and blood but against darkness and evils within and outside. May God's armour shield us from the evils around
