Why do you like riding motorbikes?

Nowadays driving a car on the highway is common. Whether it's a private or rental car. Generally, cars are mostly used for work or travel. However, it turns out that there are still many people who prefer to ride motorbikes instead of cars, especially in big cities. In Asian cities the number of motorbikes roaming the roads exceeds the number of cars. Do you also prefer to ride a motorbike? What is the reason?

First, you don't have to spend so much in gas unlike when using a car. Second, they can easily get through heavy traffic areas. I know how to drive a motorbike but I still prefer using a car. It is still more convenient especially when there is a sudden change in the weather.

@Babale Yes, and I don't want to be exposed on the sun's direct light during summer. I also know how to use an electric scooter. I believe that we need to learn to drive different vehicles because driving is a survival skill. My car is an old model, manual sedan and I am currently learning everything inside. I want to preserve this car even if I am not a mechanic.

@ARIES1973 You're so lucky, I can't even drive a car until now.

I perfer the van or a car, myself. I can't drive and need to take my wheelchair where I go. So cars or vans are best for me. My cat Precious used to love to watch them zoom by during speed weeks.

I think in your current condition it is safer and more comfortable to use a car than a motorbike. Are you not interested in riding a three-wheeled motorbike? I guess it's pretty safe.

I used to ride a motorbike for 17 years. My motorbike was a Honda XL100 and I sold it in 1992 because my father-in-law commented that it was dangerous for me and my wife riding on the bike with our two daughters. It was safer back then riding motorbikes but I heeded the advice. Now, it's very dangerous to ride motorbikes back home because there are so many irresponsible motorbike riders and deaths due to motorbike accidents happen weekly and sometimes it's almost daily. Even if you drive carefully it's still dangerous there because others don't do the same.

@Babale I hope you stay safe always and be alert all the time. As for me, I've never ridden a motorbike since I sold mine.
