Contrary To Pop Psychology, Some Narcissists Do Change

I read a post not long ago that proclaimed that "a narcissist will never change", but this is what is called an erroneous generalization. While it is certainly true that there are many narcissists who don't change, there ARE actually some who do. I have personal experience w/a few. In fact, there is a man who by all accounts was a narcissist @ one point in his life, and not only did he change, but he went on to help people who had been damaged by narcissistic individuals. I learned a long time ago not to write anyone off entirely. The thing is, they have to WANT to change, it doesn't just happen, and unfortunately there are a great many who don't want to.
