Twelve Die in Hotel Fire
Four Injured when flames gut building
There's a part of this article that talks about a woman identifying her husband's body. A woman was found burned to death alongside him. Another woman came forward to identify her body but would not give her(the identifiers) name.
Sad.. Just.. Sad. Makes me wonder if the wife knew about the affair?

The fire brigades were ill equipped too. They did what they could with what they had, but what they had was not enough.

@CarolDM To be the wife of one of the fire fighters. They must have feared for their loved ones safety every day.

@Tina30219 Then again, maybe she knew about it. I feel like around that time women were just expected to live with their husband's infidelity.

Yes, very sad. I can't imagine the anger and grief she felt.

Yes the affair would have been a shock indeed so she was probably happy then he burned.

It took me a second to connect the dots to be honest. I knew it was a hotel but my brain did not connect the "other woman" to be a mistress.
I was watching a video a few months back and this woman went over the history of a hotel in South Dakota (I think). It had a bit of an affair scandal history too.
