Weird Inventions : Radio Hat

I think this one is for the books. Which books? I guess a Guiness one.. Either way, these were made in and around 1931-1949. There were some made with a hard shell and some, like in the video below, made with a normal hat. I would classify this as the first Walk-Man, wouldn't you? I believe these things could pick up radio signals from 20 to 30 miles away. Garden need fussing with? Wear THIS hat instead of your sun hat.
