Song of the Day: Believe

This song takes me back to my own childhood and a lady I used to visit, Mrs Alice, she was in her eighties when I was a girl of eight or nine, and I'd go and visit her after school, visits we both looked forward too
Had I thought of it at the time I would have written the stories she told me down, the way I would Nonna's, but it wasn't about that, it was about the connections built.
I think to often these days some children are not taught to respect their elders to cherish the moments we have and to learn from their wisdom.
Country Music, has a way of hitting the emotions straight on the head.

That lady left some good influence on you and you still cherish that connection. I felt the same way with an elderly lady in our neighborhood. She was a good friend of my grandmother.

My Grandmother was for me as well, I lost Nonna in 2003, but she’s still very much with me.
