What do you think of America in Iraq? Are you for or against it? What do you think should be done?

I think we should start getting our troops out of there and work with the surrounding countries more for some sort of peace in that region, although there never has been and probably never will be.

i think youve got a good idea. getting our troops out and working with the other countries might help them learn and function better

I think we should bring our Service Members home. If that country can't step up and start defending themselves why do we have to do it for them. Our guys and gals in service are there doing a job they were told to do by the man in office. When will it be enough? Why do we keep sending more and more over there? Before long we wont have enough here to take care of the USA. Bring our Service Members home.

It is a bad situation. They need to divide the country up into three small countries and put each of the three "tribes" into seperate countries so they will stop fighting each other.

My feelings on the war in Iraq are complex. #1 I don't think that we had any business in Iraq in the first place. They didn't find any weapons of mass destruction. Yes, Sadam is a bad man, but why is it the problem of the US government to stick their nose in everyone else's business, especially when a lot of these countries hate us anyway. #2 Although I don't support war, I do support our men and women that are over their fighting. They don't HAVE to be over there, but they are. They are away from their friends and family and the comfort of every day life. A lot of the kids that are over there probably never thought that we would see war, and joined the army for college money or got suckered in by recruiters coming to their school, or rock concerts, or the mall, etc. So whether they want to be at war or never expected to be they have my support and respect. #3 We went over there and made a mess. Not saying that the mess isn't for some ultimate good... but it is a mess. We cannot pull out of there now. As much as I would like my friends to come home, I know that they can't. It would make things worse. And if you ask many of the soldiers they will tell you they don't want to come home until the job is done... or that it's not a good idea to pull out now.
