I don't mean that in the niceest way. I'd been having issues with my cell phone, loading games or responding to voice commands. Usual bugs one would expect after upgrading. Doing a factory data reset usually resolves the issue quickly. So this morning, I thought.... hey I'll do one and turn on the wi-fi. The phone could charge while I got some sleep. Well, I found out the Wi-Fi had gone down. Tried to repair it, myself, failed. So I had to have a tech come out.
Bright side he was able to work and get stuff working quickly. Bad news.... my phone's still being difficult as all get out and apps want to be pains.

I got it to work, had to reset samsung pay. Need to re-activate cards to use them, but I'll do it after my headache subsides a little.

Once I was back online it wwas smooth sailing. Funny how doing a simple reboot found a problem I didn't even know I had.

I rarely turn on the wi-fi on my phone. However, I knew that I needed to do a factory reset, so I turned it on to speed up the process. However, that's how I learned the Wi-FI wwas down. Otherwise, I would've found out when I decided to watch t.v. And, by then, it might've been too late to get a tech out to fix it the same day.

All updates require at least two restarts and your phone is useless for about ten minutes while the update downloads. However, now that I've rebooted my phone after doing the data reset and the Wi-fi is working both are working quite well.

I can't say I blame you. I think the data reset was much-needed because my phone is 16 months old. It's starting to slow down and isn't as responsive as it once was. It's recommended to reset your phone every six months or so to keep it running smooth.@DianneN

Me, too. Seems the battery's performing better, too. I charged it last night. And after watching a couple of episodes of property Brothers on Hulu, some texting, and using it as an alarm, it's just a little under 50 percent. @just4him

It was my phone, but he Wi-fi going down also affected the computer, too because well, most a apps on a computer require an internet connection to work.
