Weird Inventions: Helmet Gun

This one is... interesting to say the least.
A 1916 invention, this gun would fire as long as the wearer blew into a tube which was connected to the trigger mechanism..
Oh and on top of that it could be used in the kitchen
This is in Pratt's own words The crown section of the helmet when detached from the base of the helmet may be inverted and used as a cooking utensil, the elongated hood projecting therefrom for protecting the barrel of the gun serving as the handle therefor.
So it could become a pot it sounds like or a mixing bowl. From what I understand, you flip it upside down and use the barrel of the gun as a handle.
Bet that idea was supposed to convince the missus that the helmet was worth the extra coin.
Oh and the recoil didn't seem to be any problem either.
Either way, i don't think this idea took off as well as the inventor had hoped.

This one was a bad one.
All I can think is a battle weary soldier accidentally blowing into the tube and killing his mate.
