It's Official-Women talk too much

Women utter 20,000 words a day on average compared to men's 7,000.They also speak more quickly devote more brainpower to chit-chat and get buzz out of hearing their own voice.
These are the findings of Luan Brizendine, who runs a female "mood and hormone" clinic in San Francisco.
According to her book "The Female Mind" this difference is caused by difference in male and female brains.Male hormone Testosterone causes those areas in male brain to shrink in the womb, which are responsible for communication, emotion and memory. Hence ladies if your men are unemotional, forget your birthdays and anniversaries blame it on hormones or to their brain.She says women have more brain cells set aside for communication. The act of talking triggers a flood of chemicals that gives women a rush similar to that felt by heroine addicts.
See I told you women were brainier than men.

That is too funny. I am female and I am a stay home mom so I dont get to talk much except to my 2yr old. Mylot gives me the chance totalk without really talking. And I would be here all day if I could.

There has to be more factors that you didn't enter into that equation... The fact that men figure things out before they say them, so they are sure to say exactly what they want. Maybe this was misconstrued as slow talking, but it's almost like we take after politicians. Just skimming the surface so nobody really knows what's going on, but the plan at hand sounds descent... Another factor is womanly cycles, and you know what that's about I'm sure. Crazy mood swings coincide with crazy emotions!

I always knew that women were more chatty than men, however I didn't realize that they spoke over half as much as men though! 20,000 words a day...holy! I've often wondered why my boyfriend isn't as emotional as I'd like him to be and why he forgets important dates sometimes!! I'm not sure that I will let him off the hook for hormones just yet hehe :)

Thats the reason why men are poor listeners. They cant save themselves from the wrath of ladies. Also the brain gets functionally overloaded by processing too many words at a time. With words being fired as bullets its hard for anyone to be safe.

thats ture,women do good at talk,what ever you do they can start a talk about that,not only official women but also a nomal woman.think about a woman talk to her husband.

interesting..but i always knew women are smarter hehe..i saw a documentary myself about women and men brains,i found out they are different but the conclusion was that men are more practical and women more creative and emotional..well no matter the studies,it's a fact that women can be smarter than guys..and about the talking..it really depends if we also make sense or just talk for the sake of talking,at least that's what men say:)

if women were not created- men still would be eating raw food from trees and wearing leaves.One thing is for sure they would not have found their car keys,would have used a smelly wet towel to dry themselves--(if they ever would have succeeded in creating one),thye could not have learned ot tie their ties.

if you are talking about women talk with womenthen i simply agree with you they talk too much intrenally but when they have to talk with amen then they talk less
