Today is Hug Day!! Are you a hugging type of person?!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I finished some of the work today by going out in morning. Today 12th February, 2021 is celebrated as Hug Day. I really wondered that people who like hugging other people as a greeting would feel so wierd as they no longer can do it because of the pandemic. I personally am not a hugging type of person. I like to greet someone from little distance. Do you miss the human touch? Are you a hugger?? Let me know about it.

No, I'm seriously not a hugger. Even before the pandemic. It's okay to talk and all, but no touching please. I don't even hug Mom regularly.

@akalinus thank you! You do understand. Sometimes people just touch, pat or whatever without considering whether the other person is comfortable is not. I try to give a distance to such people, yet they don't take a hint.

A lot of people feel that way. We should never violate someone's space if they don't like touch.

I don't hug everyone but for sure if I see someone I have not seen for a long time then I would automantically hug them. It is difficult and frustrating not to be able to hug anyone now

I do miss human touch. I am a hugger and not allowed to because of that cursed virus. Sometimes, I wonder if it is designed to keep people apart while needing each other.

I'm not a hugging type even before pandemic but I do show my love and appreciation thru kind loving words most especially to my children. I wrap wisdom around my children.
