Am I Afraid of AI?

The answer to this is to some degree yes. Even the most advanced AI wouldn't have what we as humans know as conscience. AI could also majorly malfunction, whether by accident, or through human interference like hacking. As much as I find AI fascinating, we should be careful w/it, before we open "pandora's box" and can't shut the lid on it again.

AI must be treated properly, they are under human control.

No, I don't think AI is something you should fear. I don't fear it. While technology isn't foolproof, it has made our lives all the more easier.

@jnrdutton Oh, I apologize for not realizing this. I'm not intimidated by artificial intelligences, at times they have given Jay a wrong answer!

You should treat AI with care but not fear it. I don't think it can ever totally replace human intelligence.
